Brian is a Principal Architect and Owner of Associated Architects, located in Gilbert, Arizona. He has grown with this firm, which his father started in 1959, and has been practicing since 1994. He has been involved in all design aspects of municipal, education and commercial projects across the state. As an Arizona native, born and raised in Casa Grande, Brian is particular when it comes to integrating the local heritage and culture of communities into the design of projects. Serving on several local boards and committees, Brian is a major advocate for industry and community involvement.

Marcus Murray is the Senior Project Manager/Quality Control Manager at Associated Architects and has been with the firm since 1987. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Montana State in 1986. Marcus has almost 3 decades of experience in his professional field. Knowledge and design skills have established him as a valuable member of the Design Team in the production of Contract Documents. He has gained essential experience by working closely with Clients and Contractors. With every project, Marcus gives meticulous review instructions to avert any potential problems and his attention to detail facilitates immediate answers to questions as they arise.

Jared is a Registered Architect with Associated Architects. He received a Master of Architecture degree from Arizona State University in 2015, and started with the company shortly thereafter. Before Associated Architects, he worked in a residential design firm for over 11 years designing and drafting custom homes. He is a dedicated individual with a passion for learning and exploring new avenues in both architecture and in his daily life. He is active in his community as a mentor and leader helping youth develop their skills and talents. As a Project Architect, he seeks to build relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors in order to achieve a project that everyone can take pride in.

Gabriel received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Design Studies (Built Environment) and a Minor in Urban Planning from Arizona State University in 2009. He interned at Associated Architects for two years while in college from 2007-2009. Gabriel then accepted a full time position with Associated Architects once he graduated, and is still working at the firm as a Project Manager. He strives to maintain a successful relationship with the client, contractor, consultants, and city for each project at hand. His Project Manager responsibilities would include tasks such as; project development through to construction documents. Gabriel strives to be a step ahead in communication with the client updating them about the progress and timeline of the project. He is currently in the process of applying to the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration to begin the process of the Architectural Examinations.

Claudia is passionate for design, nature, and the search for all the beauty in the world. Her wanderlust has helped her to broaden her spectrum in a personal and professional level. She graduated with Honors in Architecture in 2010, and completed a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Sustainability from the Universitat Politenica de Catalunya in Spain. She has more than 9 years of experience working in commercial, educational, and residential projects, overseeing from the schematic design to the construction administration and project closure.

Paul Martinez is an architectural designer who holds a degree in Applied Sciences. His informal education started at a young age while employed with the family construction company during school breaks. His understanding of wood, masonry, and concrete construction is a byproduct of his formative years with the family business. At Phoenix College, the curriculum was heavily based on architecture and computer-aided design. Paul has 28 years of experience in the Architectural and Planning disciplines. Having worked for award winning architectural firms and an International Engineering company, he has experience in residential and commercial architecture as well as exposure to industrial construction. He spent 10 years employed at a Native American Government where he was recognized and received a certificate of excellence. As an avid cyclist, Paul has used the sport of cycling through his 5 years of volunteer service on the planning committee for the Tour de Cure. Paul is a founding member of the Salt River Triathlon Club. Through the sport of Triathlon, the club aims to inspire people to improve their health through triathlon training and competition.

Jodie Honn is the Office Manager of Associated Architects. She has been with the firm since March 2016. She handles Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Payroll, Insurance needs, Budgeting, Accounting Reports, filing, organization and more. Originally from Iowa, she earned her Business Management degree from Arizona State University in 1990, and then moved to Los Angeles, California. In CA, she ran her own massage therapy business for 12 years. In 2004, she moved back to AZ, changed her focus, and worked for many years as a substitute teacher when her daughters were younger until she joined Associated Architects.
