A new 16,721 S.F. athletic and multi-purpose facility consisting of a three (3) court gymnasium, platform, lobby with ticket booth, offices, and support spaces. The facility is used for numerous intra-school sporting events, assemblies, and community functions. The program was developed with the School District under very tight budget constraints. By utilizing a pre-engineered metal building, synthetic snap-together gym flooring, ground-mounted mechanical units, and a portable platform, resulting in a $78.00 building cost per square foot. Masonry walls and a wood roof structure were chosen in the public areas for economy and durability. The finished product is a facility that the students and persons in the community will utilize extensively in the years to come.
